This is your sign to create a fun, festive holiday mocktail bar for your next gathering! It's a new take on a classic party punch that offers an easy DIY activity that all your guests will love. All you need is a large-format batched mocktail mixer, an array of fresh garnishes, and Spindrift.

To start, you need a batched mocktail mixer to act as the base for everyone's drink. To make our batched mocktail mixer, we combined tart cherry juice with our favorite homemade mulling spice simple syrup. These flavors taste like the holidays and work so well with any Spindrift or fruits you feature. The ingredients are aromatic, eye-catching, and delicious - a treat for all your senses.

Guests will love the opportunity to customize their own drink - so we recommend arranging a garnish station with all your favorite fresh fruits. We used oranges, limes, lemons, and apples to go with our chosen Spindrift flavors. But you can also add fun, festive garnishes like cranberries, cinnamon sticks, star anise, orange peels, thyme, mint, or even edible flowers. 

When it comes time to serve, be sure to set out an ice bucket, cold Spindrift, and the batched mixer. Everyone can visit the bar and create a custom drink to-taste.

If you'd like to add an ABV option for some of your guests, this recipe would work with wine, whiskey, or Spindrift Spiked.

Holiday Mocktail Mixer Recipe:

Ingredients

Holiday Mocktail Mixer

  • 1. 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2. 1/2 cup water
  • 3. 4 whole cloves
  • 4. 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 5. 1/4" peeled knob of ginger
  • 6. orange peel
  • 7. star anise
  • 8. cinnamon sticks
  • 9. 2 cups tart cherry juice
  • 10. your favorite fruit
  • 11. garnishes

Directions

• 20 Minute Prep • Makes 5+ servings

  • 1. Start by creating the mulling spice simple syrup: Combine sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Add cloves, nutmeg, star anise, ginger, cinnamon sticks and a peel of orange to the pan. Heat until it comes to a simmer then cover and remove from heat and let steep for 15 minutes. Strain and let cool. Add to a large pitcher and stir together with tart cherry juice. Chill in fridge until ready. Now set up your mocktail bar: add a platter of freshly sliced fruits for garnish, an ice bucket, your batched mocktail, and a variety of Spindrift flavors. To serve, add ice to your glass, fill 1/3 with batched mocktail, and top with your favorite Spindrift and any fruit garnishes you choose. Enjoy!
