Why Tea? 

Iced tea is an ideal beverage in so many scenarios: on hot days, with lunch, out on the golf course, with friends, and just as a midday pick-me-up. It's a beverage that so many people love but, despite its popularity, the iced tea category hasn’t seen much innovation in the last few decades. We thought it’d be the perfect beverage to put our real squeezed fruit spin on.  

Many iced teas on the market are ultraprocessed, made with artificial flavors, colors, or fruit concentrates. We knew there was a better, more delicious way.  

Spindrift Tea is iced tea, our way. Real squeezed fruit. Real brewed tea. Never-ultraprocessed (Non-UPF verified), no artificial flavors, colors, or sweeteners. Just iced tea you can feel great about enjoying day after day and can after can. 

Our Take on Tea, Sourced with Care 

We put the same care and attention into sourcing the perfect tea as we put into sourcing our real squeezed fruit and other best-tasting ingredients. With Spindrift Tea, we aim to create the ideal blend with one specific goal: complement real fruit.  

To achieve this, we partnered with one of North America's largest leaf tea importers and worked together to develop custom black and green tea blends sourced from 16 global origins. Our proprietary blends offer both tea and fruit clearly in every sip. 

Many fruit teas are built the other way around, leaning on fruit flavor with tea as a background. With Spindrift, both the tea and fruit are perfectly balanced. In our Lemon Tea, you get distinctive body from the black tea alongside a bright pop real squeezed lemon and a hint of sweetness from real-pressed apple juice.  

Slightly Sweet 

Traditional iced tea sits across the spectrum of sweetness - from sweet tea to strong brewed then chilled. With Spindrift® Tea, we wanted to reinvent iced tea our way, using what we're known for: real squeezed fruit. 

"Slightly sweet" means fruit-forward with just a hint of sweetness. The goal isn’t to make these teas sweet, they’re very far from your typical sweet tea. Instead, the fruit and agave works behind the scenes to enhance the flavor notes of the ingredients and create a more balanced, flavorful sip while keeping the overall sweetness low.  

To create a crisp, refreshing and fruit-forward, and endlessly drinkable iced tea, we made sure to balance both real brewed tea and real squeezed fruit. Our Spindrift Teas are slightly sweet – but not too sweet – so you can drink them over and over. 

The Current Spindrift Tea Lineup 

Spindrift® Lemon Tea is real brewed black tea with real squeezed fruit. It's slightly sweet, non-carbonated, and endlessly drinkable. With 12% real juice, 22 calories, and only 3g sugar in a whole can. 

Spindrift® Raspberry Tea is real brewed black tea with real squeezed fruit. It's slightly sweet from a touch of agave, non-carbonated, and endlessly drinkable. With 12% real juice, 46 calories, and 9g sugar and 6g added sugar in a whole can. 

Spindrift® Peach Tea is real brewed green tea with real squeezed fruit. It's slightly sweet from a touch of agave, non-carbonated, and endlessly drinkable. With 12% real juice, 49 calories, 9g sugar and 5g added sugar in a whole can.  

Spindrift® Blood Orange Tea is real brewed black tea with real squeezed fruit. With 14% real juice, 27 calories, and 4g sugar in a whole can.  

Non-ultraprocessed (Non-UPF)  

Spindrift Tea is non-ultraprocessed like all of our products. “Non-UPF” means non-ultraprocessed or made without ultraprocessing techniques or ingredients. Since the beginning, Spindrift is never ultraprocessed but now all our products are officially certified non-ultraprocessed by the Non-UPF Verified Standard. Developed by the Non-GMO Project, the Non-UPF Verified standard sets clear limits on industrial additives and high-impact processing, prioritizing formulations that preserve the structure and function of real food.
