Spindrift Beverage Co., Inc. was founded in 2010 on the belief that the best tastes come directly from nature, every Spindrift® product is proudly made the hard way with real squeezed fruit. Spindrift does things the hard way, the intentional way, the better albeit more challenging way, the right way – because, in the end, it's worth it.

Spindrift is delicious sparkling water made with real squeezed fruit. We think it’s delicious.

The word "spindrift" also means the spray that comes off of an ocean wave or snowy mountain when wind blows.

Spindrift uses real squeezed fruit – including fruit juices, fruit purees, and extracts from the same fruit. Our goal is to use as much of a fruit as possible, not only the juice. The extracts we use are created from the oils from the rind or peel of the fruit. Please check out this post for more information.

You can find Spindrift in Costco, Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods Market, Target, Kroger, Publix, Vons, and other, local grocery stores, restaurants, and small retailers. Our products are currently only available in the United States. But we hope to be available internationally some day soon!

We do recommend refrigerating Spindrift for the best experience. That said, you can store our sparkling waters at ambient temperatures (below 80ºF)—but we recommend that you consume them after they have been chilled.

All of the ingredients in our sparkling water are non-GMO certified. Many of our cans now have the official non-GMO certification but you may still see cans in the market without the non-GMO badge. This is just because we’re actively transitioning to including the new badge. All contents are still non-GMO.

Yes to both! Please note our Kosher designation is OU.

We keep the carbonation level balanced so we don’t overshadow the taste of the real squeezed fruit that goes into all of our products.

All Spindrift beverages are fully pasteurized to comply with food/beverage safety regulations.

All Spindrift beverages are individually stamped with a best by date. To find the best-by date, check the bottom of the can or look on the outside packaging of any the eight, and variety packs. We recommend enjoying your Spindrift before that date for the best experience.

In short, no. At Spindrift, all of the fruit squeezed for our product is non-GMO and sourced from trusted farms; although the fruit is not technically certified organic. After much research, we found that the projected environmental costs of switching to wholly organic produce would outweigh any potential benefits we’d receive by “going organic.” We’re committed to working with farms to source the very best-tasting fruit there is and we’re always looking for ways to source more sustainably.We are closely involved with the entire process of the creation of our product. From visiting farms to tasting each and every batch we make. We’re proud to work with our partners and are always working to reduce our environmental impact at every level in our production process. We’re also committed to giving back to reputable environmental non-profits through our membership to 1% for The Planet.

All our cans are using a BPA-NI can liner, or BPA-not intended. This is the industry standard lining that’s been reformulated without the use of BPA, or bisphenol A and BPS.

Yes! It was the first Spindrift product, made in glass bottles and required refrigeration. Years ago, we discontinued the original Spindrift® SODA because we no longer wanted to use cane sugar. After years of hard work, Spindrift® SODA is back and honestly better than ever. This time, the only sweetener in our soda is the real squeezed fruit, and it is shelf stable just like Spindrift® Sparkling Water.

Spindrift® SODA features a variety of real squeezed fruits, purées, and extracts from fruit – never from concentrate. Each soda is made with 20% juice. Our sourcing team searches worldwide for the best-tasting fruit and ingredients for our products. Our soda line includes new carefully sourced ingredients like vanilla from Madagascar and ginger from Peru. Every ingredient must pass our rigorous sensory process before it's added to a batch of Spindrift. Then every batch is tasted 3x before it makes it to you.

Real squeezed fruit! Really. Zero added sugar and no engineered sweeteners, either. After years of hard work, we created recipes that taste as good (and sweet!) as soda just by using real squeezed fruit.

We're obsessed with what goes into our products and scour the world to find the best-tasting ingredients we can. Our extracts are made by squeezing, pressing, or steeping real fruit, spices, and herbs, and we love how adding them can deepen the flavor profile of our recipes. Each extract in Spindrift is sourced with the same care as our juices and purees. (Our vanilla, for example, is sourced from Madagascar for its rich, round, sweet bourbon notes.)

Spindrift Tea isa still beverage (not carbonated). We use nitrogen dosing to preserve quality and pressurize the can, not to add bubbles - so it drinks like traditional iced tea.

To achieve the perfect balance of iced tea and fruit, we developed custom black and green tea blends with tea sourced from a variety of tea-growing regions around the world. In order to deliver this profile year-round, we work with suppliers who source from multiple origins and the exact country of origin may vary based on seasonality, harvest ,and climate. 

This approach allows us to maintain consistent taste and quality while working with experienced growers and suppliers. 

Like all our products, we craft each tea recipe individually - and taste them repeatedly - to create the best possible flavor experience

For the "slightly tea" and endlessly drinkable experience we were creating, in a few recipes, we realized we didn't need to add anything aside from real squeezed fruit to make a delicious tasting product. However, in some flavors like Peach and Raspberry, we found that a small amount of agave really helps to bring out the genuine fruit character and makes the flavors taste more vibrant and expressive.

Traditional iced tea sits all across the spectrum of sweetness - from sweet tea to strong brewed then chilled. With Spindrift® Tea, we wanted to reinvent iced tea our way, using what we're known for: real squeezed fruit.

"Slightly sweet" means fruit-forward with just a hint of sweetness.The goal isn’t to make these teas sweet, they’re very far from your typical sweet tea. Instead, the fruit and agave works behind the scenes to enhance the flavor notes of the ingredients and create a more balanced, flavorful sip while keeping the overall sweetness low.
